Meet Our Team

Jessica Warren, MA, LPC

 Licensed Professional Counselor / Founder

My passion is working with adults with various different presenting issues, including loss and grief, marriage/relationship concerns, and trauma. It is my belief that a sound therapeutic relationship is a foundation for healing and I seek to provide that for all of my clients. Through this therapeutic relationship, and through a variety of treatment modalities including Object-Relations, Psychoanalytic, and Internal Family Systems, I strive to assist my clients in finding solutions to their concerns that work for their unique situations. Our sessions can help you grieve loss; help you learn new coping methods or adaptive behaviors; teach you new communication and relational skills; or give you the space and feedback necessary to process events. My goal is to provide an open and non-judgemental platform that will benefit your healing process. As I understand the importance of finding the right counselor to suit your personality and your needs, I offer a brief phone consultation free of charge. I would love the opportunity to walk alongside you on your journey and I hope to hear from you soon!

Deborah Coan, MA, LPC-Associate

Licensed Professional Counselor Associate

My name is Debbie Coan and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Kayleigh Anderson, MS, LPC-S. I graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and also hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. I practiced in the Community Life Center in Belton associated with UMHB and worked full-time with a nonprofit agency. My mental health career began working with developmentally disabled clients and their families and transitioned to working with clients with severe mental illness. Throughout my career in mental health, I have worked with individuals with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and addiction, and I am passionate about breaking down barriers to mental health services. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. Some additional areas of special interest include working with couples, survivors of trauma, individuals who are adapting to a change in health status, adolescents who are transitioning into adulthood, and individuals struggling with depression. From my multi-faceted education and training, I have developed an eclectic approach to therapy and aim to tailor the counseling process to the unique needs of my clients. Some of the modalities I utilize include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Seeking Safety. It is my joy to get to know my clients and I deeply value the vulnerability clients show when they choose to engage in the counseling process. I understand the courage it takes to seek help and actively work to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health. I am committed to providing counseling which is welcoming to all regardless of sexual orientation, disability status, or ethnic background, and I hope to work with you soon!

Rebecca Sato, MA, LPC-Associate, NCC

Licensed Professional Counselor Associate

My name is Rebecca Sato and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Kayleigh Anderson, MS, LPC-S. I enjoy working with adults and adolescents as they deal with life adjustments, depression, anxiety, and trauma-related symptoms. As an EMDR-trained therapist, my clients and I often find that locating “stuck points” in one’s past can give us the key to improve life in the present. Working with me may include mindfulness techniques, cognitive therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), parts work, and expressive therapies with an emphasis on noticing what our bodies and emotions may be trying to tell our thoughts. Counseling isn’t about being told what you need to do! Instead, we will work together to figure out what you need and want, and what goals fit your circumstances at this time. My education at Texas State University (M.A. in Professional Counseling) and related clinical experience provided me with the opportunity to research and gain clinical experience with how substances and adverse life experiences often intersect and frustrate a flourishing life. I have experience and training for counseling military-connected individuals, which is deepened by my personal experiences of living overseas and working with military spouses by providing parenting support. I am a musician by training (classical singer) and I continue to use my music skills as the music director in a Greater Austin area church. Beyond counseling and music, I stay busy caring for my family, dabbling in the fiber arts as a spinner and knitter, and caring for myself through swimming as often as possible.

Erin Davenport, MA, LPC-Associate

Licensed Professional Counselor Associate

My name is Erin Davenport and as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervised by James Jackson Burns, LPC-S, I enjoy working with adults, couples, veterans, older adults, and children as they deal with life adjustments, depression, anxiety, and trauma-related symptoms. Hailing from southeast Texas, my journey has been shaped by love, resilience, and a commitment to helping others thrive. I have lived in the Austin Area for more than 30 years and graduated with my Master's in Professional Counseling from Texas State University. As a counselor, I prioritize authenticity, humor, and humility, creating a safe and inclusive space where clients can explore their emotions and stories without judgment. By embracing vulnerability and shared humanity, I cultivate meaningful relationships built on trust and understanding. Whether you're facing grief, trauma, or seeking personal growth, I am here to walk alongside you with compassion and support, empowering you to embrace your journey with courage and resilience. In my philosophy, counseling in its truest form can be viewed as emotional education, filling the gaps often overlooked in traditional learning environments. Rooted in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I embrace the concept of dialectics—the fusion of opposing ideas—as a guiding principle in my practice. As an eclectic therapist I include a variety of methods along with DBT that may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment-based, Strengths-based,Adlerian, Family Systems, and Play therapy. I believe the heart, mind, and body communicate through emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, offering insight into whether one is living authentically based on their values. This understanding forms the foundation of my approach, empowering clients to navigate life's challenges with clarity and purpose.  I am experienced in working with adults struggling with emotional dysregulation, PTSD, abuse, anger outbursts, suicidal/self-harm, and other cognitive behavioral issues. I love working with older generations, but also love Play Therapy with children, as well as helping couples on their paths to healing and improving communication. I excel in meeting my clients where they are and being beside them through this process. Outside of work I love to spend time with my family and a good book or movie. I enjoy cooking, playing games, holding my lap dog and laughter, lots of laughter! Committed to ongoing growth and learning, both personally and professionally, I remain dedicated to my own counseling journey and supporting others on their paths to healing and self-discovery. I would be honored to share this part of your life journey with you. Please reach out if you’d like to schedule a brief 15 minute consultation or if you'd like to get started working together!
